THANKS GIVING DAY

‘There is Always Something to be Thankful For.’ “A grateful Heart is a magnet for miracles” A true saying which tells us the importance of being grateful for the little things and people that make our life beautiful & meaningful. Bringing this into reality, our children decided to say a big ‘Thank you’ to the helpers of our society as we celebrated ‘THANKS GIVING Day’ on 26th, November,18 at HIS-Karapakkam. A special program was organized by the students of Grade-4 to Grade-10. Our Principal Ms. Iris Theodore addressed the gathering and distributed gifts and sweets as a token of gratitude to all the Housekeeping staff, drivers & security. A “Thank You note” was written by each student and it was tied on a Tree to express their gratitude to whomever they wanted to. Also, the students of class Prep took the initiative to appreciate the efforts of our helpers by singing a motivating and thanking song for them. Overall, it was a commendable gesture by our children as they spread a message of being thankful in the society. ‘The more you thank life, the more life gives you to be thankful for’.
